Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

Our SEO Products

We offer two styles of SEO.  One based on specific numbers of keywords, the other based on a consulting approach to SEO. These are just different ways of presenting SEO as a service to help you with their different approaches to SEO
  • About 80% of the industry sells SEO based on number of keywords. This is why we offer these options of service.
  • About 20% of the industry have more of a consultative approach. This is why we offer the Maintenance, Normal and Aggressive options
  • Our work with the different approaches follows the same processes with minor differences in reporting only
  • You have the option of buying either way, however, you would only apply one approach to any website as they are all fully encompassing services
  • The consulting approach allows you to increase keywords without extra charge
  • The # of keywords requires an upgrade to increase keywords.
Note: We also offer Link Building packages and OnPage fixes packages separately.  These two services are included already in our SEO services and are only there to support businesses that do other elements of SEO in house. i.e. You do not need to purchase link building on top of one of our SEO packages as it is already included.

SEO Service Overview

Research & Analysis
The first step in each of our SEO campaigns is to learn about you, your business and your competition.  By understanding your business objectives and your industry we are able to research and plan a bespoke SEO campaign tailor made just for you.  This initial analysis will give us an understanding of where your website currently stands in terms of its overall search performance.

Keyword Strategy
From our initial research of your business and industry we are able to develop a list of keyword phrases we believe will be profitable pursuing.  These keyword ideas will be presented to you, sorted by monthly search volume and our perceived "ranking difficulty". Together, we’ll select a list of target keywords.

Link Strategy
Off-page SEO is the single most important aspect of any SEO campaign. Today, old-hat SEO techniques such as building large quantities of low-quality links no longer help improve a website's ranking positions.

Our link strategy is based on the latest best practices in the industry and revolves around acquiring and securing high quality backlinks that help improve your website’s Domain Authority, and thus its ability to rank in Google and other search engines.

Content Marketing Strategy
Each month our team of diversely trained writers and content marketers will produce articles, press releases, video, infographics and other content that will appeal to your target market.
The content we create will not only help to generate social signals and natural backlinks, but it also enhances the authority and image of your brand online.

Each month we will provide you with a detailed report highlighting the improvements achieved in the previous 30 days, showing increases in organic traffic and ranking positions.  Moreover, with your account manager never more than a phone call away you can request any of the key metrics or ask any questions you like at any time during the month.

Our Guarantee: Improved SEO Performance Or Your Money Back
We’re so confident in our ability to improve your website’s SEO performance that after 12-months of running a campaign with us, if your website has not seen an improved SEO performance we will refund your money back in full.
Our guarantee promises that over the course of a 12-month period you will see improved Google ranking positions on an agreed subset of keywords (not every single keyword we are tracking) – or a 50% increase in the amount of organic SEO traffic driven to your website when compared to the start point of the campaign.
Our guarantee requires you to allow us to implement all the SEO actions we recommend and fully participate in the information we require from you, otherwise it will be void.

SEO Limitations

  • SEO as a service is designed to “optimise” the way a website (and the business it supports) performs in the search engines
  • SEO really should only be seen as a foundational (albeit an important one) building block to a robust marketing strategy
  • SEO does not do anything outside the relationship between the search engines and websites
  • Typically (but not always) this translates into an improvement in traffic to the website
  • A limitation of SEO is that this is not always the case. In some industries there is limited “stock” for search traffic
  • Assuming a successful campaign does send more traffic to a website, the next limitation of SEO is that it does not take responsibility for converting that search traffic into more or better leads. In fact, the implementation of an SEO campaign may even work against this
  • Conversion rate optimisation is the service which creates value here. This can be invaluable when working together with meaningful SEO
  • SEO does not build a database for prospect nurturing. Nor does it nurture
  • SEO is not part of a sales process either it does not convert leads to sales
  • The major players can also randomly change the rules, resulting in degradation of results. You should be prepared for this with a communication strategy for clients in the off chance Google has a major shift in the future

SEO Is Working When:

  • Success in SEO means the website being SEO’d is ranking well in Google for the keywords being targeted in the campaign. This means at a minimum, most keywords are on page 1 of Google. Many keywords will hopefully also be within the top 3 positions
  • This will be reported on with the monthly SEO Ranking report
  • Typically this will also mean an increase in organic (free), search driven traffic to the website
  • This will be reported on with the monthly traffic reports generated from Google Analytics (assuming access to Google Analytics has been given)
  • A successful SEO campaign will also ensure that your business is represented strongly and professionally when people search for the business specifically
  • These are the basics of a reputation management campaign
  • There are many listings for the business in business directories etc, taking most places in Google page 1
  • All entries related to your brand are written professionally and correctly represent your key messages (this depends on your adherence to appropriate quality checks).

SEO Purpose

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the process of optimising a website so it appears on page 1 in the search engines (primarily Google) for the search phrases prospects who do NOT know of the website or business use, when searching for the products and services that the business and website attempt to sell

  • These results appear in the organic listings, not the paid listings and not the maps listings
  • So the idea with this is that when people are searching for your products, they find your business (the business we are doing SEO for) first and contact you about doing business.
  • i.e. In positioning your website on the top of Google for the keywords people use when searching for the your products and services, you will enjoy free targeted traffic from the search engines
  • Another part of SEO, often ignored, is optimising your brand on search engines when people are specifically researching your business. Part of this is reputation management, however SEO itself should help this by providing quality content on business directories and other properties when they directly represent the brand. These elements of SEO should not be inaccurate as this can have a negative impact on this. This is why you are required to quality check these parts of the campaign
  • Traffic from search engines is highly desired as prospects are often in a purchasing frame of mind when searching for what they need. They are in the market to buy when they search for your products. So the conversion process to a lead or sale from search engine traffic is often a lot higher than other forms of interruptive styles of advertising
  • Paid traffic from search engines is also getting more and more expensive. As such, despite the early investment required to position a website well, over time the ROI from SEO traffic can be much higher than that from paid traffic.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Website Design: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How long does it take to finish the development?
Our website development service normally completes within approximately 3 weeks for the Basic Web Design Package, approximately 3 to 4 weeks for the Basic Web Design plus Content Package, and depending on the scope of the web development, 4 to 6 weeks or more for the Advanced Web Design Package. Please note that these timelines can be met as long as all requirements (intake forms, payment, content, access credentials, etc.) are provided to us before the design phase begins.

Does this include hosting?
Name registry, hosting, and server costs are exclusive of this service. However, we would be more than happy to suggest a few hosting providers that offer great products and quality customer support.

What technologies do you use to build your websites?
We use WordPress along with premium WordPress themes. Our themes are built with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP. All our themes also use Page Builders, which allow clients to easily build pages with unlimited layouts through a drag and drop user interface, without the need for coding knowledge.

Why Wordpress?
Our Web Development services is built on the WordPress content management system (CMS) because:
  1. It is the most flexible and easiest to use open-source content management system, with worldwide community support.
  2. It has themes with responsive web design provide optimal user experience across devices so that users navigate the website with minimal re-sizing and scrolling.
  3. Its Dashboards use page builders that: provide a drag and drop interface; allow easy creation of responsive column-based content; and have more than five (5) pre-designed widgets , e.g. Galleries, Testimonial, Blog Feed and many more
Does your web development package come with SEO?
We will build your site based on architecture that's optimised for SEO.

Where will you build my Website?
We create your site on our own servers first and would only upload to your own website after the Final QA and revisions.

How many revisions can I make before incurring additional costs?
  1. There are two revision points for you. The 1st round of revisions happens after the staging site or initial design is provided. Your client will be given 24 to 48 hours to provide all the design related revisions they need. The 2nd or last round of revisions happens after the content integration is completed. Your client will be provided 24 to 48 hours to relay revisions that are content-related.
  2. Please note that any revisions on the last round would have to be minimal and not amount anymore to design changes or work that would take more than half a day to execute.
Can I get access of my site while in development?
We strongly discourage providing access to the site during the development phase. The credentials to the site are only turned over once they are hosted in the client server, after the final walkthrough and approval.
